  • Overview

    The Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing shifts. He/she must convey the Cane’s culture to his/her staff and be a team player who likes to work hard, have fun, and show sincere dedication to Raising Cane’s standards. The Assistant Manager will demonstrate leadership; setting high food quality and service standards in order to insure that crew members on each shift successfully execute “What We Do” - serve the perfect box… fast, friendly, immaculately clean while having fun.





    • Always gives friendly service to our customers and always says thank you.
    • Maintains composure while working in a stressful busy situation.
    • Maintains friendly relationship with supervisor, coworkers and crew members.
    • Must be able to promote a cool culture and morale on each shift.
    • Actively leads and implements What We Do all the time while having fun.
    • Insures the preparation and service of the Perfect Box every time.
    • Leads crew members to effectively work fast without sacrificing quality of food and service.
    • Insures a harassment free work environment on each shift that is friendly for managers, crewmembers and customers and appreciates the diversity that each individual brings to Cane’s.


    • Maintains an immaculately clean restaurant during each shift in compliance with Cane’s standards, as well as local, state and federal standards.
    • Actively manages cleaning checklist, and keeps counter, dining room, and kitchen clean at all times.


    • Insures that all safety rules are followed and  HazCom and MSDS are updated and properly
    • located in store and are adhered to every shift.


    • Follows proper sanitation and food safety procedures at all times.
    • Always demonstrates good personal hygiene and insures that crew members do the same.


    • Adheres to all of Raising Cane’s Risk Management and Security Procedures


    • Has fun while working hard. Has positive attitude at work.
    • Is responsible for insuring that crew members provide friendly, and enthusiastic service.

    • Assistant Manager’s must be able to stand for long periods and be quick on their feet for lengthily periods, be flexible and mobile and must also be able to pick up a minimum of 50 lbs
    • For applicants 18 years old or older, employment is contingent on passing a background check 


    Minimum 1 year food service or related experience.
    Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to adapt to new systems quickly
